TOWN OF CRANE LAKE
BOARD OF AUDIT MEETING
February 11,2020
The February 11, 2020 Board of Audit Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 5:30PM, at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with those in attendance including: Supervisors Kara Knutson, Jim Janssen and Jerry Pohlman, Treasurer Traci Bak, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman and 1 member of the community.
There were no additions to the Agenda.
OLD BUSINESS:
Minutes – The minutes of the 2019 Board of Audit Meeting were previously approved at the 3/12/19 Annual Meeting.
Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2019 – Traci read the following Cash Control Statement for 2019: Beginning Balance – $122,069.64; Total Receipts – $297,694.65; Total Disbursements – $283,389.11 with an Ending Balance of $136,375.18. A motion was made by Jim, supported by Kara, to approve the Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2019. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
Review/Inspection of Clerk & Treasurer Ledgers and Books: The Supervisors inspected the Clerk and Treasurer’s Reports and Books for fiscal year 2019 and found them to be in clear and correct order.
Review Projected Revenues & Expenditures for 2020: The Supervisors reviewed the Projected Revenues & Expenditures for 2019 with no changes recommended.
Review Proposed 2021 Budget: The Supervisors reviewed the proposed budget presented by the Budget Committee. A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Kara, to accept the 2021 budget and levy request as submitted by the Budget Committee to be presented to the citizens for approval at the 2020 Annual Town Meeting with the suggestion that the citizens may want to increase levy for future expenses related to the proposed Visitor Center. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:00PM.
