BOARD OF CANVASS MEETING
November 13, 2012
The Board of Canvass Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 8:00PM, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall following the Board of Supervisors’ Meeting with the following in attendance: Supervisors and Canvass Judges Butch Eggen, Jim Janssen & Jerry Pohlman, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman and Treasurer Terrie Hoff.
Chairman Jerry read the election results as follows:
Number of registered voters prior to poll opening – 97
Number of persons registering to vote on Election Day – 8
Number of signatures at polling place roster – 61
Number of absentee ballots – 23
Total number of voters – 84
Candidate Vote
Jerry Pohlman – Supervisor A, 4 Year Term – 52
Jo Ann Pohlman – Clerk, 4 Year Term – 56
Write-in Votes
Supervisor A, 4 Year Term – 2
Clerk, 4 Year Term – 0
No Votes
Supervisor A, 4 Year Term – 7
Clerk, 4 Year Term – 5
The 2013 Town Board will be Supervisors Jerry Pohlman, Jim Janssen, and Butch Eggen, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman and Treasurer Terrie Hoff.
The Board then certified the election results.
We, the Board of Supervisors, of the Town of Crane Lake, do hereby certify the election results of the Town of Crane Lake, 2012 General Election, held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 as submitted by the Election Board to be the official results.
Shirley Sanborn received 57 votes; there was 1 Write-In and 3 no votes for the Orr/Cook Hospital Board.
