BOARD OF CANVASS MEETING
November 11, 2008
The Board of Canvass Meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Jim Janssen at 8:02PM Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall following the Board of Supervisors’ with the following in attendance: Supervisors and Canvass Judges Jim Janssen and Butch Eggen, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman, Treasurer Terrie Hoff, a reporter from the Voyageur Sentinel and 1 member of the community.
Vice-Chairman Jim read the election results as follows:
Number of registered voters prior to poll opening – 114
Number of persons registering to vote on Election Day – 3
Number of signatures at polling place roster – 70
Number of absentee ballots – 20
Total number of voters – 90
Candidate Vote
Jerry Pohlman – Supervisor, 4 Year Term – 75
Bob Kaiser – Supervisor, 4 Year Term – 1
Cathy Erickson – Supervisor, 4 Year Term – 5
Bob Anderson – Supervisor, 4 Year Term – 1
No vote – Supervisor, 4 Year Term – 8
Jo Ann Pohlman – Clerk, 4 Year Term – 87
Carole Scott – Clerk, 4 Year Term – 1
No vote – Clerk, 4 Year Term – 2
The 2009 Town Board will be Supervisors Jerry Pohlman, James Janssen, and Butch Eggen, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman and Treasurer Terrie Hoff.
The Board then certified the election results.
We, the Board of Supervisors, of the Town of Crane Lake, do hereby certify the election results of the Town of Crane Lake, 2008 Annual Township Election, held Tuesday, November 4, 2008 as submitted by the Election Board to be the official results.
