Speed Bump Request-Gold Coast Road:  The Board discussed the letter received from St. Louis County Public Works Department resulting from their discussion with Cathy Erickson of the Speed Hump Committee.  The cost of the humps would be about $2,932.00 each and three were recommended.  The Town would be responsible for purchase of the humps; St. Louis County would install and maintain the humps at no cost.  They would be removed in September and reinstalled in May.  St. Louis County would store them.  Issues that arose were:  Would the Town be liable for vehicle or individual injury as a result of the humps? Would this possibly lead to Township ownership of roads?  $9,000.00 is not in the budget.  A suggestion was made to explore courtesy signage (placed on personal property, not in right-of-way); i.e. Welcome to CraneLake, please slow down.  The issue was tabled until there is a full Board in attendance.

Community Celebration:  Terrie stated that tickets would soon be printed and distributed to local businesses.  A press release was sent to newspapers including Duluth, Virginia, and Hibbing.
