RECONVENED BOARD OF APPEAL & EQUALIZATION MEETING of April 21, 2010

May 5, 2010

 

The April 21, 2010 Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting of the Town of Crane Lake, reconvened on May 5, 2010 was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 4:00PM at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including:  Supervisors Jerry Pohlman, Jim Janssen and Butch Eggen, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman, Township Assessor Jan Jackson & Ron Olsen, St. Louis County Representative Ben Thomas and 3 members of the community.

 

Dennis Drieman, Parcel Codes 308-10-00216 and 00217 land valuation was adjusted.  A motion was made by Butch, supported by Jim to decrease the valuation on Parcel Code 308-10-00216 by $2,700 and on Parcel Code 308-10-00217 by $400.  All voted in favor and the motion carried.

 

Randall Stern, Parcel Code 308-80-00405 appealed property valuation.  A motion was made by Jim, supported by Butch to reduce valuation on property by $20,400 due to cabin, park trailer and garage quality.  All voted in favor and the motion carried.

 

Jeffrey Sanborn, Parcel Code 308-140-00090 appealed property valuation.  A motion was made by Jim, supported by Butch to change land grading by $47,600.  All voted in favor and the motion carried.

Bart J. Greenwood, Parcel Code 308-0000-09657

John W. Plaisted, Parcel Code 308-0000-09690

Donald T. Nightingale, Parcel Code 308-0000-09659

A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Jim to move well and septic values from Land to Building as per County Error Report on the 5 above mentioned Parcel Codes.  All voted in favor and the motion carried.  Valuations remained the same.

 

Todd Tollefson, Parcel Code 308-90-00100 appealed valuation of property.  A motion was made by Jim, supported by Jerry that the valuation remains the same.  All voted in favor and the motion carried.

 

There being no other requests from Crane Lake residents regarding property valuations or classifications, the Board of Appeals and Equalization Meeting was adjourned at 5:15PM.
