SPECIAL BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ MEETING
Crane Lake Visitor Center
September 18, 2025
The September 18, 2025 Special Board of Supervisors’ Meeting was called to order by Chair Jim Janssen at 5:30PM with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including: Supervisors Jim Janssen, Scott Sanborn and Jeanne Shuck; Treasurer Traci Bak; and Clerk Ashlyn Denning. Also present was Deputy-Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman and Visitor Center and Campground Manager Serena Swenson.
BUSINESS
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the Crane Lake Visitor Center and Campground Shower House project. Jim stated one bid came in at just over $800,000 for the project. Discussion about having roughly $480,000 available to use from DNR and IRRR. Discussed using funds for other projects.
A motion was made by Scott, supported by Jeanne, to deny the bid for the shower house project. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:51pm.
