SPECIAL BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ MEETING

Crane Lake Visitor Center

July 30, 2025 – 5:00pm

The July 20^th, 2025 Special Board of Supervisors’ Meeting was called to order by Chair Jim Janssen at 5:02PM with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including: Supervisor Scott Sanborn, Vice-Chair Jeanne Shuck; and Clerk Ashlyn Denning. Treasurer Traci Bak was absent.

BUSINESS

The purpose of this meeting was to approve contractor selection for the Bayside Drive DNR Public Water Access Project. Four quotes were received, with Project Manager Jason Chopp of S.E.H. recommending KGM Contractors, Inc. who submitted the lowest bid. Jeanne asked why the engineer’s estimate was lower than the lowest bid and Jim explained. Jim asked for a motion to be made, which Jeanne did, supported by Scott, to approve the contractor selection as KGM Contractors, Inc. for the Bayside Drive DNR Public Water Access Project. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:07pm.
