TOWN OF CRANELAKE
RECONVENED BOARD OF APPEAL & EQUALIZATION MEETING
May 20, 2013
The May 20, 2013 Reconvened Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting of the Town of Crane Lake was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 2:05PM at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including: Supervisors Jim Janssen, Jerry Pohlman and Butch Eggen, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman, Township Assessor Jan Jackson and St. Louis County Representative Patrick Orent.
Remaining Appeals were addressed.
Dr. Richard Dinter, Parcel Code 308-0080-00040 improvements were reviewed. A motion was made by Butch, supported by Jerry, to increase the valuation on the property from $392,400 to $403,100, an increase of $10,700 due to new construction. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Ejay Dawson, Parcel Code 308-0080-00407 improvements were reviewed. A motion was made by Butch, supported by Jerry, to increase the valuation on the property from $527,700 to $563,300, an increase of $35,600 due to new construction. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Todd Smrekar, Parcel Code 308-0260030-00060 improvements were reviewed. A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Jim, to increase the valuation from $164,700 to $169,800, an increase of $5,100 due to construction completion. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Jim Janssen, Parcel Code 308-0080-00401, Rec 1,2,3 appealed valuation of property. A motion was made by Butch, supported by Jerry, that the valuations remain the same. Jerry and Butch voted in favor, Jim abstained and the motion carried.
Virginia Stahnke, Parcel Code 308-0030-03560 & 03522 appealed valuation of property. A motion was made by Jim, supported by Jerry, that the valuations remain the same. Jim and Jerry voted in favor, Butch abstained and the motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 4PM
