BOARD OF APPEAL & EQUALIZATION MEETING

April 12, 2016

 

The April 12, 2016 Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting of the Town of Crane Lake was called to order by Chairman Jim Janssen at 1:05PM at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including: Supervisors Jerry Pohlman, Jim Janssen, and Butch Eggen, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman, and St. Louis County Representatives Beth Sokoloski, Patrick Orent & Brian Grahek.  Treasurer Traci Bak arrived shortly after.  Paul & Sarah Tufte arrived later.

 

A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Butch, to approve the following as recommended by the St. Louis County Representatives. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

 

Merlin Larson, Parcel Code 308-0030-03511.  Corrected interior physical attributes to the residence and removed LAG from garage.

 

Merlin Larson, Parcel Code 308-0030-03480 & 308-0030-03490.  No Change.

 

Dean Larson & Eric Olson, Parcel Code 308-0030-03510 – Records 1 & 2.  Adjusted cabin and sauna condition and quality after walk through.  Lowered value of well for poor performance.

 

Richard D. Anderson, Parcel Code 308-0050-00012.  Class change from 111 to 152 (platted land cannot be 111).

 

John R. Mallow, Parcel Code 308-0050-00013.  Class change from 111 to 152 (platted land cannot be 111).

 

John W. Plaisted, Parcel Code 308-0000-09690.  No Change.  County will meet with Mr. Plaisted for a walk through.

 

 

Motion by Jim, supported by Jerry, to approve the following as recommended by the St. Louis County Representatives. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

Motion by Jerry, supported by Jim, to approve the following as recommended by the St. Louis County Representatives. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

 

Paul & Sarah Tufte, Parcel Code 308-0030-03575 – Records 1 & 2.  Corrected condition and interior attributes of home after inspection.  Removed 2 RV site values.

 

Motion by Butch, supported by Jerry, to approve the following as recommended by the St. Louis County Representatives. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

 

Paul & Sarah Tufte, Parcel Code 308-0030-03535.  Removed bath from Coffee House.
