BOARD OF APPEAL & EQUALIZATION MEETING
April 17, 2019
The April 17, 2019 Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting of the Town of Crane Lake was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 10:05AM at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including: Supervisors Jerry Pohlman, and Katie Congdon; Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman; and St. Louis County Representative Beth Sokoloski.
Supervisor Jim Janssen and Treasurer Traci Bak were absent.
The purpose of the meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
Francis & Sharon Wanous, Parcel Code 308-0000-00500. Valuation of Park Model was too high for age. A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Katie, to decline the appeal as a reduction was made in 2018 and the valuations have increased across the board in Crane Lake due to property sales. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Tim McGuire, Paradigm Management Services, Inc., Parcel Code 308-0030-01490. Appealed valuation of property. A motion was made by Katie, supported by Jerry, to decline the appeal as the valuations have been increased across the board in Crane Lake due to property sales. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Tim McGuire, Paradigm Management Services, Inc., Parcel Code 308-0030-01380. Appealed valuation of property. A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Katie, to decrease the land value from $13,800 to $9,900 due to the poor quality of the acreage. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

A motion was made by Katie, supported by Jerry, to decline the appeal as the valuations have been increased across the board in Crane Lake due to property sales. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

A motion was made by Katie, supported by Jerry, to decline the appeal as the valuations have been increased across the board in Crane Lake due to property sales. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
Jeffrey J. Sanborn, Parcel Code 308-0140-00090. Appealed valuation of property. A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Katie, to decline the appeal as the valuations have been increased across the board in Crane Lake due to property sales. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
There were no other appeals.
The Board of Appeal and Equalization Meeting was adjourned at 11:00AM.
