BOARD OF AUDIT MEETING

February 21, 2017

 

 

The February 21, 2017 Board of Audit Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jim Janssen at 7:05PM, at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including: Supervisors Butch Eggen, Jim Janssen and Jerry Pohlman, Treasurer Traci Bak, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman and 1 member of the community.

 

There were no additions to the Agenda.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

Minutes – The minutes of the 2016 Board of Audit Meeting were previously approved at the 3/8/16 Annual Meeting.

 

Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2016 – Traci read the following Cash Control Statement for 2016: Beginning Balance – $144,016.54; Total Receipts – $207,557.31; Total Disbursed – $219,934.60 with an Ending Balance of $131,639.25.  A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Butch, to approve the Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2016. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Review/Inspection of Clerk & Treasurer Ledgers and Books: The Supervisors inspected the Clerk and Treasurer’s Reports and Books for fiscal year 2016 and found them to be in clear and correct order.

 

Review Projected Revenues & Expenditures for 2017: The Supervisors reviewed the Projected Revenues & Expenditures for 2017.

 

Approve Revision of 2017 Budget: There were no revisions.

 

Review Proposed 2018 Budget: The Supervisors reviewed the proposed budget presented by the Budget Committee.  A motion was made by Butch, supported by Jim, to accept the 2018 budget and levy request as submitted by the Budget Committee to be presented to the citizens for approval at the 2017 Annual Town Meeting.  All voted in favor and the motion carried.
