TOWN OF CRANE LAKE
BOARD OF AUDIT MEETING
February 8, 2022
The February 8, 2022, Board of Audit Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 7:10PM, at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with those in attendance including: Supervisors Kara Knutson, Jim Janssen and Jerry Pohlman; Treasurer Traci Bak; and Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman.
There were no additions to the Agenda.
OLD BUSINESS:
Minutes – The minutes of the 2021 Board of Audit Meeting were previously approved at the 3/9/21 Annual Meeting.
Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2021 – Traci read the following Cash Control Statement for 2021: Beginning Balance – $183,777.52; Total Receipts – $284,521.15; Total Disbursements – $273,253.50 with an Ending Balance of $195,045.17. A motion was made by Jim, supported by Jerry, to approve the Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2021. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
Review/Inspection of Clerk & Treasurer Ledgers and Books: The Supervisors inspected the Clerk and Treasurer’s Reports and Books for fiscal year 2021 and found them to be in clear and correct order.
Review Projected Revenues & Expenditures for 2022: The Supervisors reviewed the Projected Revenues & Expenditures for 2022 with no changes recommended.
Review Proposed 2023 Budget: The Supervisors reviewed the proposed budget presented by the Budget Committee. A motion was made by Jerry, supported by Kara, to accept the 2023 budget and levy request as submitted by the Budget Committee to be presented to the citizens for approval at the 2022 Annual Town Meeting. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:25PM.
