TOWN OF CRANE LAKE
SPECIAL BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ MEETING
October 8, 2021 – 11AM
The October 8, 2021, Special Board of Supervisors’ Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 11:05AM at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including Supervisors Jim Janssen, Kara Knutson & Jerry Pohlman; Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman; and 2 members of the community.
BUSINESS
Chairman Jerry explained the purpose of the meeting to be the adoption of Resolution No. 2021-08.
A motion was made by Jim, supported by Kara, to adopt Resolution #2021-08 Resolving that the Town of Crane Lake desires to complete the necessary preparatory work for construction of the Visitor Center in 2022, and therefore authorized an expenditure of up to $35,000 for the Town’s engineer, S.E.H., to complete this preparatory work in 2021, and that the Town of Crane Lake will guarantee this payment, though it is expected that the grant from the State of Minnesota and/or the IRRRB will cover this expense. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:10AM
