SPECIAL BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ MEETING
January 24, 2023 – 2PM
The January 24, 2023 Special Board of Supervisors’ Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jerry Pohlman at 2:00PM with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including: Roy Christensen of Johnson, Killen & Seiler (Zoom); Supervisors Jim Janssen and Jerry Pohlman; Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman; and three community members (including Zoom).
Purpose of Meeting: The purpose of the meeting was to address Bayside Drive landowners’ comments and concerns regarding damages awards.
Caroline Coggan thanked the Board and advised that her variance application with St. Louis County was being approved.
Corey Klinefelter had two items to address: 1) A resolution of the Town Board regarding the Klinefelter’s desire to continue using the existing private roadway to access their parcel after the establishment of Bayside Drive as a township road. The Board will consider the resolution at their February Board of Supervisors’ Meeting. 2) Request for the engineer’s description of the Klinefelter parcel with road changes. Roy Christensen assured Corey that this would not be necessary.
Caroline Coggan asked if the power lines would be on the east or west side of Bayside Drive. The Township engineers with S.E.H. did not see that the power lines would need to be moved.
There were no other comments or concerns.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:15PM
