Board of Canvass

 

The Board of Canvass Meeting was called to order by Chairman Ruth L. Carlson at 9:15PM Tuesday, March 11, 2003.  Attending were Supervisors Ruth L. Carlson, Terrie Hoff, and Mark Anderson, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman, Treasurer Jacque Eggen, a reporter from the Cook News Herald, a reporter from the Voyageur Sentinel and several members of the community.

 

Chairman Ruth asked Head Election Judge Shirley Sanborn to read the election results.  Her report was as follows:

Number of signatures at polling place roster              –   49

Number of absentee ballots                                        –   28

Total number of voters                                                –   77

 

Ruth L. Carlson – Supervisor, 1 Year Term               –    61

Teresa J. Hoff – Supervisor, 2 Year Term                  –    41

James N. Pohlman – Supervisor, 2 Year Term         –    34

Mark R. Anderson – Supervisor, 3 Year Term           –    53

James Janssen – Supervisor, 3 Year Term               –    23

Jo Ann Pohlman – Clerk, 1 Year Term                       –    73

Jacque L. Eggen – Treasurer, 2 Year Term               –    70

The 2003 Town Board will be Supervisors Ruth L. Carlson, Teresa J. Hoff and Mark R. Anderson, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman and Treasurer Jacque Eggen.

 

The Board then certified the election results.

 

We, the Board of Supervisors, of the Town of Crane Lake, do hereby certify the election results of the Town of Crane Lake, 2003 Annual Township Election, held today, Tuesday, March 11, 2003 as submitted by the Election Board to be the official results.
