February 11, 2003: Board of Audit. Minutes

 

 

The February 11, 2003 Board of Audit Meeting was called to order by Chairman Ruth Carlson at 6:30PM, at the Crane Lake Chapel Fellowship Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by those in attendance including:  Supervisors Ruth Carlson and Mark Anderson, Treasurer Jacque Eggen, Clerk Jo Ann Pohlman, a reporter from the Cook News-Herald, a reporter from the Voyageur Sentinel and 1 member of the community.  Supervisor Terri Hoff was absent.

 

There were no additions to the Agenda.

 

Minutes – There were no minutes to approve as this was the first Board of Audit Meeting for the Town.

 

Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2002 – Jacque read the following financial statement for fiscal year 2002: Receipts – $8,000, Disbursements – $4,069.84, Balance – $3,930.16.  A motion was made by Mark, supported by Ruth to approve the Treasurer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2002.  Motion carried.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

The Supervisors inspected the Clerk and Treasurer’s Reports and Books and found them to be in clear and correct order.  A motion was made by Mark, supported by Ruth to approve the financial findings of the accounting books.  Motion carried.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

The Supervisors reviewed the Projected 2003 Budget.  A motion was made by Mark, supported by Ruth to approve the Projected 2003 Budget as adjusted.

 

The Supervisors reviewed the 2004 Proposed Budget Worksheet.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7PM
